HOBBIT GUNGNIR:
The Hobbit Gungnir is the signature yo-yo of 2015 Women’s Division World Champion Hobbit Xiao-Wen Wang!
With Hobbit’s favorite yo-yo, the Gungnir, used as a base design C3 only had to make a few minor tweaks to create the ideal yo-yo for Hobbit Xiao-Wen Wang. The Hobbit Gungnir is almost identical in size and weight to the original Gungnir, but the subtle changes that were made in design make a big difference in play!
They gave the Hobbit Gungnir a grind friendly blasted finish and added a special bump outside the response pads in the string gap which reduces string friction and drag and helps the yo-yo remain on plane through horizontal combos. And to take the design even further they tweaked the weight distribution in the cup, pushing weight further out where it is needed to create an impressively stable yo-yo with minimal tilt and a superior sense of maneuverability.
