Two Hand Regenerations
Yo-Yo Trick
The next trick we're going to work on is called two-handed regeneration. Regeneration is when you're in mid loop, you throw the yo-yo out and turn around the world and then recall it back into looping. It looks like this. You start with looping. I'm actually going to throw the yo-yo out and turn around the world and then back in the loops. You can repeat this as many times as you want. It's a really nice smooth looking move, just like so. So, basically what you're doing is as you're looping, you then make a stronger swinging motion with your hand, which causes it go into the around the world and then as you withdraw it back around, you bring your hand out to do the looping motion again. So, it looks like this. I'm making a looping motion and then one strong swinging around the world back into loops. Practice this with one hand and then eventually, you'll be able to throw it into two hands. It looks like this. I prefer to do it just about simultaneously. You'll notice one goes and then the other and they come back into loops. One more time, loops, swing, swing, I'll try it one more time. Swing and it come back around. Sometimes your yo-yo gap might be too tight. It might be catching a little bit. Your nondominant hand is a little more difficult to get going. Just to make that motion really strong, powerful, you should be able to regenerate a mount. That's two-handed regeneration.
