Inside Outside Loops

Yo-Yo Trick

So, the next trick we're going to be working on is called inside-outside loops. It's a combination of the previous trick, outside loops. So inside loops looks like this, outside loops looks like this. Throw them together; we kinda touch on this before. It's just inside-outside, inside-outside, inside-outside, just like so. Tips to practice this. When I first mention the outside loops, I told you it's a little bit easier sometimes to just throw one outside loop as your throwing a regular loop. Well, now you want to put those completely together and you want to be able to control it so that it goes just inside-outside repeatedly. So notice how I'm doing one inside, then one outside, then one inside, one outside. One thing you want to try and do when you're doing this is if you're still using your arm a lot to do your loops, it's going to be really hard to get that outside motion and control it. So one of the things you want to focus on is using just your finger. You want to be able to throw, control it. Notice how it's mostly my finger making this motion. It goes inside to outside, and inside to outside. It's really going to help you control it from coming outside back in, 'cause if you're using your whole hand you'll fighting a lot more to get that yo-yo back to where it's going to go rather than if I'm just using my finger, I can just swing it back over to the right side and then re-correct it. So inside-outside, inside-outside, this is another really cool looking trick. You're bound to start impressing people if you can get this down. Inside-Outside loops.
