Zero 52

The Zero 52 is At Design Lab’s tribute to the legacy of Anti-Yo—blending the spirit of the past with the precision of today. Compact at 52mm, the Zero 52 draws inspiration from the timeless allure of the Eetsit and Bapezilla while re-engineering every detail for modern performance.

Centrally Balanced Design

Early Anti-Yo models were known for their solid, weighty feel, driven by a prominent hub and M6 axle system. For the Zero 52, At Design Lab recreated that satisfying heft with a rebalanced design using an M4 axle. Even more distinct is the use of a rare 20mm axle, carefully chosen to recapture the robust weight distribution of the originals while delivering better balance for today’s play. 

Refined Shape & Play

The Zero 52 embraces a beautifully rounded profile—soft in the hand and smooth on the string. Despite its smaller size, thoughtful weight placement ensures ample spin power and a solid presence in play. Modern touches like the Shmoved ring reduce string drag and unwanted tilt, preserving stability for today’s complex tricks without losing the nostalgic feel. 

Signature Finishes

At Design Lab developed two signature finishes to honor the heritage of Anti-Yo’s iconic coatings:

• Smooth Ultimatte: A soft, two-tone finish with a modern feel, inspired by the legendary Viszilla. 
• Vintage Coating: Recreates the look and texture of vintage American yo-yos with a slick, refined finish for a truly nostalgic vibe. Available in both standard and polished options. 

Modern Response

While the originals featured Dif pads, the Zero 52 updates the system with At Design Lab’s Silky Pads (A-RT/CLYW compatible). The result is reliable response and smooth play that feels both classic and current. Blending heritage design with modern execution, the Zero 52 delivers a throw that feels as timeless as it does refreshing—a true modern classic.
