Introducing The Talent – the latest release from Alchemik and a striking aluminum interpretation of their flagship titanium model, The Tyrant. Machined from premium 7068 aluminum, The Talent mirrors the Tyrant’s bold design and proportions with a 54mm diameter, 45mm width, and a lightweight, agile 63g on a size D bearing—offering an incredibly smooth feel on the string and in the hand.
The standout feature? Beautifully executed undercut rims that echo The Tyrant’s unique silhouette while dialing in performance and balance. This design speaks both to Alchemik’s love for aesthetic detail and our commitment to next-level playability.
Colorways include subtle nods to Alchemik’s past releases, including the Gnometrooper, DedGnome, and striking palettes from The Roentgen, signature throw of Alchemik team member Tyler Jorgenson. For the purists, a clear finish version is also available in ultra-limited quantities.
The naming itself carries intention—"Talent" from "ALuminum" just as "Tyrant" came from "TYtanium" (with a little creative phonetic flair). But more than material, The Talent is a message. This is a great yoyo, its super stable and has a lot of power for such a small throw. Its a great little throw. Binds are good. It has a D bearing. I enjoying it more than a lot of other monometal throws.

Spins a shockingly long time for being an undersize throw. Great feeling, tight bind. Unusual rim geometry but I like it; makes the yoyo pretty dense feeling yet it maintains speeds wonderfully and still somehow has some float. Excels at 5A although feels pretty good as a 1A yoyo as well.

I have the Talent, The Tyrant and Hellsing.
It should be a crime selling such a good throw at this low of a price.
Comfort, power and stability it's got it all. It's agile changing direction, light on the string. It plays quick as well.
With a D bearing as well. This is one throw if you're on the fence about just take a change, it's well worth it.
