PAKFA TYPE-82

While inspired by the original Pakfa, the new Pakfa TYPE-82 has undergone major refinements in every key area. Updates to the rim shape, rim thickness, axle opening, and outside cup give this version a completely new feel while maintaining the familiar silhouette. The name “TYPE-82” marks the year Reiwa 4 or 2682nd year in the Japanese Imperial calendar.

From the first throw, you’ll notice the signature compact and lightweight feel that defines Sturm Panzer’s Size D models. However, the performance has evolved far beyond expectations. Despite nearly identical dimensions and overall weight to the original, the rim weight has been increased by 11 grams to a total of 42 grams. This shift in distribution creates a powerful sense of stability and spin that lasts far longer than expected from an undersized design.

Many yo-yos with concentrated rim weight struggle to maintain smoothness and balance, but the TYPE-82 handles both effortlessly. Its refined construction showcases Sturm Panzer’s unmatched understanding of Size D performance and the precise relationship between rim mass and body structure.

Each release includes the second printing of Storybook Volume 8, featuring newly added drawings and design insights from the original Pakfa. The TYPE-82 stands as a true evolution of Sturm Panzer’s engineering. Compact, powerful, and perfectly tuned for high-level performance.
