The Solaris is Atmos' 6061 aluminum reimagining of their flagship titanium model, the Polaris.
The Atmos team captured the defining play qualities of the Polaris to create a yo-yo that’s powerful, wide, and incredibly smooth. At its core, the Polaris aimed for a balance of agility, smoothness, and rock-solid stability, and the Solaris builds on this DNA with a slight size and weight re-distribution that results in a more accessible, technical play experience.
Atmos aimed to retain the Polaris’ power, maintaining a smooth, flow-oriented feel that resonates with modern players. The result is a yo-yo that can handle the trickiest of combos while feeling responsive and balanced in motion. The name Solaris connects this model to its predecessor and Atmos' Weatherman line, reflecting the same level of intentional design and powerful playfeel.

Idk why I don't see more hype for this yoyo. It's perfect! It quickly became my go to throw for everyday practice. Binds are nice and snappy, rejection/regen tricks are easy, it plays fast if I want it to and slow if I don't. It's somehow light during play but solid at the end of the string (if any of that makes sense lol). It's super smooth, and perfect for grinds. No vibe. I'm not great at horizontal yet but it can handle the few tricks I do know without issue. The silver color looks great and it's an overall aesthetically pleasing looking yoyo. I also like the little bag it comes in. I plan to get another one soon to paint a design onto.
