The Slasher, originally released in 2015, has been updated with a new design. While expanding the width by 5mm from its predecessor and adjusting the weight distribution, the diameter and weight remain virtually unchanged: a refinement that prioritizes balance.

The most significant change, its increased width, directly contributes to improved hit rates in string tricks. This wider design provides reassurance particularly in rail-based tricks and hop-based combos. By maintaining the diameter and weight, consideration has been given to allow fans of the previous version to transition without discomfort.

One thing that remains intact is the characteristic sOMEThING feel: a responsive touch. With reliable feedback that allows players to constantly track the yo-yo's position, it precisely traces the intended trajectory. The powerful, solid feeling accommodates speed-focused play while also providing stability for tricks at a more relaxed tempo.

This solid characteristic allows it to function as a relatively versatile yo-yo. Beyond 1A, the wider design makes it a viable option for 5A as well. Through updates from its predecessor, it has evolved into a model that can perform in a wider range of scenarios.
