SLACKiES

I just got back into yoyo'ing and needed to find out what kind of string I liked. To find out, Ive been ordering string from every manufacture I could, in any variation they offered. I just got the slackies in a couple weeks ago and I knew these were what I was looking for after a quick test session.

What I like about this string is its durability while maintaining its softness. Unlike other strings, after long periods of play with hands that perspire, these stings did not get hard. They kept their softness. After a couple weeks play the string started to become slightly fuzzy but its small price to pay for the benefits.

As of right now this is my favorite string. Im still open to trying others out but my goto will be slackies for the foreseeable future.

I'll keep this review nice and short, this is an amazing string for the price. The slackies really do live up to their name, they are amazing for slack tricks as well as the limited amount of whips I do know. I use these strings on all of my throws and thus far they have been great without any bad experiences, these are skies above my magicyoyo strings and better than kitty strings in my opinion. I could see the strings being short for some people, but that doesn't bother me too much as I am short, it bothers me more than I have to shorten the string every time. I practice a lot, normally 2-4 hours a day and with my most used throw, the edge, these strings will last about 4 days to a week. So yeah, these are amazing for the price and I would recommend picking them up, they are by far my favorite cheapish bulk string.

I usually use Kitty Fat string so I'll give a quick comparison:
Slackies are a lot softer to begin with and they aren't quite as good at whips and lacerations as the Kitty, BUT they hold their tension A LOT better than Kitty. With that being said they're great for slack because string tension is the most important part of slack tricks!

They seem to wear down a little faster than Kitty string in the sense that they get fuzzy pretty fast, but unlike Kitty, they don't get really stiff right away. Kitty gets very stiff after a half hour or so of constant play and the string tension needs adjusted after every throw. Not this stuff. It stays soft and limp with fantastic tension for a long time.

It's a lot lighter than Kitty Fat hence the reason it's not quite as good at whips and lacerations, but it's still decent for those kinds of tricks!

It also comes with pre-tied loops so of you play with slightly longer strings, you don't have to waste any time tying a finger loop. Overall I would say this string is a fantastic option for the price! Good to change it up once in a while with something different. Give it a try!

I love this string it's great when I use this string the response is perfect for all my yoyos. It's great for slack tricks and keeps good tension l. It's soft so u wont get string burns. This string is great. I would recommend this string for any one that's trying to find the perfect string.
