Shyness

Shy already made its mark as a bi-metal favorite, and Shyness takes that same design philosophy and rebuilds it in a single material. This is Hanyang Shen's monometal signature with W1LD, reconstructing everything that made Shy work without relying on a second metal to get there.

Specs closely track the original, keeping Shy's wide body and powerful spin intact, though Shyness runs slightly lighter than its bi-metal sibling. That reduced weight, combined with the natural unity of a monometal build, gives it excellent responsiveness on both startup and stopping. The wide profile still catches the string firmly, holding up confidently through big-motion mounts and rail-based tricks, and spin power stays strong enough for a monometal to handle extended combos without losing steam. For players still working on binds, that more approachable power level, lacking bi-metal's extreme force, makes it a genuinely useful tool for refining fundamental control, while advanced players can lean into its unity for a sharper, more direct playstyle.

Built with a clear understanding of what both bi-metal and monometal construction do best, Shyness stands on its own rather than living in Shy's shadow. Whether you're building fundamentals or chasing precision, this one's ready to meet you there.
