The stunning artwork by In Hyeok Choi (@inhychoi) brings this theme to life. A clock-like progression of four bighorn sheep skulls represents stages of growth and the passage of time. It is a visual metaphor for transformation and persistence.

James Liptak Patience - Scallion Edition

Aidan and I have been friends for over ten years, and he’s actually the reason I started yoyoing. The “Scallion” theme comes from something that’s always felt familiar to me. Scallions are a staple in Asian cooking, especially Vietnamese dishes. You’ll often find them in a bowl of phở, adding color and flavor as a garnish.
The white-to-green fade represents a full scallion, from the base to the stalk. This wasn’t a formal collaboration at first; it naturally came together because Aidan wanted me to have a signature colorway on his yoyo as a nod to our friendship.

Second colorway, it's a good yoyo that should please most throwers. In my opinion this replaces the the highly controversial Method by the same brand. That's a great budget throw.

When I first watched Patience Yo-Yo Signature Video on YT I decided I had to grab one. The raw finish is awesome so I'm glad I waited for the second drop. Patience ; )
The yoyo itself is on the wider side without feeling wide at all (easier to catch on the string so a positive and a negative depending on the trick). This is pretty much the optimal size for me, any wider and it's too big, any smaller and it can be harder to catch those difficult tricks. The weight feels great at 66g (67g with bearing). A bit heavy but not a brick. It can keep up with my faster stuff but still flowy. Spin time is what you would expect, spins for as long as you make it spin lol. No vibe and is pretty stable all around. I love that it's not sharp edged like a lot of the yoyos I've tried recently. Feels nice in the hand. I even like the name, it just makes sense. I haven't used another yoyo since i grabbed this one lol.
