Original Throw Eom Gunju Signature String
Developed in collaboration with 4A World Champion Gunju Eom, these signature strings are designed to meet the unique demands of offstring and Soloham play. Built from a polyester and nylon blend, they deliver a refined balance of durability, control, and smooth response.
The standard 4A signature string increases the nylon blend compared to Original Throw’s regular string, resulting in a firmer texture with a slightly thicker feel. This added structure provides consistent tension and reliable control, making it well suited for high-level 4A play where precision and stability matter.

The Soloham Signature String is specifically tuned for Gunju Eom’s Soloham style, where two offstring yo-yos are controlled on a single string. Smoothness is critical in this discipline, as yo-yos are constantly traveling along the string. To support this, the Soloham string is produced thinner using Original Throw’s slim standard, minimizing interference and reducing snagging during movement. It is also set longer than a typical string to accommodate the extended reach and complex formations required in Soloham tricks.
Both strings reflect Gunju Eom’s exacting standards and deep understanding of offstring play, offering specialized performance for players pushing the limits of 4A and Soloham yo-yoing.
