One Drop YoYos -
Classic Style Meets Modern Performance!

Ryosuke Kawamura has always been a huge fan of the classic One Drop yo-yos like the Project and Project 2, so when they asked him what he wanted his signature yo-yo to look like it was a no brainer! Ryosuke wanted a modern Project, and that's exactly what he got in his new signature yo-yo! The Rebirth!

One Drop did an excellent job fusing the classic elements with the modern and bringing this yo-yo up to todays standards of performance! The projection profile and flat rims give you the classic Project look, while the larger size, friction reducing bump, and side effect axle system give you all the performance you're looking for!

The Rebirth has a really comfortable shape in hand and a nice weight distribution that gives you a powerful throw and plenty of control in play. It has a solid feel on the string like the original Project, but with the wider stance and even weight distribution it is surprisingly fast and stable through combos. Perfect for any style!

Pick up Ryosuke Kawamura's new signature yo-yo and let the Rebirth begin!

    Rebirth: An underrated classic

This is a good yoyo. Full stop. It spins for longer then you'd think, and is a great all around player when I want an undersized yoyo. I've never played the original project, but if it played solid and controlled like the Rebirth I'd love it too. Throwing this yoyo down feels satisfying, like biting into a smooth flourless chocolate cake, and did I say smooth? This yoyo definitely is. With a CT bearing, horizontal performance is satisfactory, and the stability during that is quite impressive for such a small yoyo. Naturally, the Rebirth is superb for chopstick elements, and other tight maneuvers. It never gets in your way, and moves at the pace you set. I figured out a good ending for a trick I'd been working on using this throw, so that speaks to how unobtrusive the Rebirth is. This is one of those yoyos that, when you mess up or stumble, is never really to blame. It is a good tool, in that it fades into the background and lets you focus on you and your tricks. Not many yoyos do that.

    Excellent throw!

At first glance, this yoyo looks like it would be a little weak since it is undersized, however, the Rebirth's undersized body is the best trait of the yoyo! The Rebirth is small enough to travel through technical tricks, or glide through basic single layered tricks, while it's weight is just enough to keep the spin strong like a larger yoyo. Plus, the texture is great for grinds. This yoyo would not be the best for competition, since it can't handle too much speed or stress, but I wouldn't say that's a negative! Overall, it's a great yoyo for playing around and to create new fun tricks.
