iCEBERG (New)

Before purchasing 2 new yoyos from your store, I did a lot of research & reading of reviews because I generally knew what I was looking for. Some negative reviews mentioned how loud the Iceberg bearing was; initially I decided against buying one, but more than one user on your message forum highly praised this model.

So I bit, along with a W1ld. Sure enough the bearing is LOUD, and even jiggly...shaking the yoyo produces a clicking sound. Quality of play doesn't seem affected except for the psychological 'rickety' effect.

I cleaned & lubricated the bearing (more than usual, using light lube) which significantly quieted things, and I am steadily warming up to this yoyo. The Wilderness I purchased along with the Iceberg still gets my preference, but they're apples & oranges so the solution is MORE PLAY...and I can always swap out the bearing to experiment.

It goes without saying that your customer support is stellar.

The iceberg is built for speed and comfort at the same time. Somehow it embodies the spirit of a high performance German automobile all while being approachable. Let me be clear this thing is no joke and it WILL hurt if you don't respect it. Marathon finger spins? No problem. Great performance with unresponsive and responsive bearings? You betcha. And the best part is at this price point you are getting performance of much more expensive yoyos at a price that won't break the bank. This is my second one and when this one has seen its last sunrise.... I will be buying another.
