YoYoFactory spent some serious time designing the perfect one piece wooden yo-yo that could perform as good as the "classic wooden yo-yo" your grandpa played with. The YoYoFactory Legend is a one-piece fixed axle wooden yo-yo, it is not a take apart design. It has a nice light weight and reliable response that makes stalls and regens a breeze.

Not the best for Beginners, it’s a little light. For experienced Old school players this is a great wooden option. This can even be used in 0A play.

why beginner should consider wooden fixed axle BUTTERFLY-SHAPE yoyo???
weight in between 55-65 grams will be awesome IMHO…

I like the color of the stain, however there were natural cracks in the wood that were not properly filled, so there are grooves in the rim. the concave on one of the sides was not sanded so there is a pronounced rim around the edge on one half of the YoYo. I expected a little bit better from this one, and have relegated it to the drawer.

Got the legend wing a few weeks ago and it really exceeded my expectations. Light with a very snappy response. Really great for 0A play or someone who wants to dip their toes into wooden yoyos.

For 10$, this is a great fun fixed axel yoyo to have, especially for those who never used one. It bring another dimension into play and is a cool new experience for me :)
