This is truly a great throw! I bought the first one a while back and at first wasn’t sure about it. The binds were a little slippy and the axle seemed hard to screw/unscrew at first. . That all worked itself out because it binds like a dream and I can’t explain it but this things screws together smoother than any yoyo I own now; I can get it started and just give it one good spins and it will spin all the way together. The first time removing the bearing was a big pain, had to use pliers, but since then it’s fine; must have been a little tight or something. After some throw time I fell in love with this thing lol. I ended up picking up another one in a different color to keep at work. I love the look of the matte colors so much! I do wish they would come out with more fades in the matte colors as well though. If they do I’ll definitely pick up a third in case something happens to one of the ones I have now. Give it a try if you are looking for a new throw and first impressions of this one may not be as good as this thing will end up so give it a little time to break in and enjoy! I hope to always have one around.

I purchased this yoyo a few weeks ago to replace my older beaten up EDC. It works great as an all around performer. If you’re looking for an affordable throw to carry outside the house it’s perfect. Fair warning to those purchasing it: It was a little slippy on binds when I first bought it, but after a few days the pads broke in and worked as expected.

It’s definitely my favorite throw of the year. I picked one up from the copper and silver drop a few weeks ago and just ordered another from Yoyoexpert as an EDC. It handles wraps around the bearing extremely well and has a wide catch zone, so I hit my tricks more consistently. Only critique is the fades. It might have been because I waited a bit too long, but I couldn’t seem to buy my first choice because it sold out.

Please make more fades next time!

I usually don’t care much for finish. Most yo-yos nowadays come with finishes that are comparable to other yo-yos. This yoyo is different though, it feels amazing in the hand and I’m not sure if it’s influenced by the shade of color and the cute, but it also looks ultra matte. It plays like a beast, but the finish and look are just a difference experience.
