The shape is a bit intimidating, but the results speak for themselves. It plays like a dream, and the response is absolutely perfect. If they’re in stock, the matte/satin finishes are better for palm grinds; however, this yoyo has enough power that the finish doesn't really matter in the end.
The only potential downside is the finish on the fingerspin hub. When it’s brand new, the texture is a bit aggressive—almost "sandpaper-y"—but it breaks in eventually. If you find that doing tech with more organic shapes feels clumsy, this yoyo has a sharp edge that really cuts through layers and lets you focus less on separating your strings.

I respect others reviews but three stars is insulting . The intensity is great it’s one of my favorites long spin time straight as an arrow on the string . The intensity is know iceberg but the iceberg is know intensity there both Awesome yo-yos classic throws.

This yoyo would have performed better without the aggressive response bump. It gets in the way and hinders stability. Hard to get a clean throw
