Lucas is a passionate yo-yo player from Germany who spends countless evenings throwing with his best buddy Emil, but there’s more to his story than that. At just 14 years old, Lucas is already working as a young researcher at a youth research center, and last summer he decided to teach himself how to design yo-yos from scratch. He learned how to create 3D models, print prototypes, and turn his ideas into real, playable products. When he sent one of his designs to the iYoYo team, they were immediately impressed, especially by the shape.

From there, iYoYo teamed up with Lucas to refine countless details, test multiple prototypes, and develop his original concept step by step. The result is the iYoYo IMAGiNATiON, a modern competition bimetal yo-yo built with a wide profile for exceptional stability and a floaty feel on the string. It’s fast, it’s precise, and it’s packed with enough power to handle demanding combos and horizontal play with ease!

Throughout the entire development process, the team stayed true to Lucas’s original vision of a minimalistic, clean design free of unnecessary distractions.
