Hummingbird II

The Hummingbird II is the long awaited sequel to one of yoyofriends’ most iconic designs. Originally released in 2017, the Hummingbird stood out with its wrapped stainless steel ring and fast, powerful feel, earning its place as a true classic in the yo-yo community.

Hummingbird II brings that classic design into the modern era while preserving the essence that made the original special. The iconic center hub and cup design remain, maintaining the familiar feel and visual identity. To meet modern standards, the width has been increased to 48mm and the gap widened to 4.54mm for improved forgiveness and compatibility with thicker strings.

The stainless steel ring has been redesigned with a steeper slope, pushing more weight to the outer rim for greater power and stability. The overall weight has been increased to around 65g, prioritizing spin strength and control while offering a more planted feel on the string.

After extensive prototyping and testing, the final design reached a balance that clearly justified an upgrade without straying too far from the original. Built from 7075 aluminum, Hummingbird II delivers modern performance with the familiar feel players remember.
