Halcyon is the first monometal signature for Shuyun Tang, designed around an ultra-wide 7075 aluminum build inspired by his longtime favorite, the Wilderness 7075. Created to support Shuyun’s competition play, Halcyon carries the DNA of the Wilderness while introducing a smoother shape and a more powerful feel.

Compared to Wilderness, Halcyon delivers increased weight with a refined distribution that boosts spin power, stability, and overall endurance. The wide, confident profile offers a soft string feel and balanced touch while still responding with the power needed for today’s faster, more intense tricks. It holds stability through long combos and remains steady under pressure, giving players the control they need in high-level performance.

The name “Halcyon” draws from the mythical kingfisher, symbolizing calm and serenity. It connects back to Shuyun’s previous signature series, Mild, while representing a new step forward in both power and refinement.

A wide, confident, and competition-ready monometal, Halcyon brings together tranquility and strength in a signature design worthy of Shuyun Tang.

    Fun throw to buy

I love the green and engraving. It's also my first 50mm yoyo. It does feel large in the hand but does not play as wide as I thought. I got used to it quickly. I also enjoy how it plays. I normally don't like player signature or competition oriented throws, but this one is very fun to play, (I was swayed by the engraving), and perhaps long spinning on par with bimetals. It's also my first 7075 aluminum yoyo as well. I really enjoy it over 6061.
