The Greasebucket is silicone sealed and packed with extra lube to deliver maximum responsiveness with no maintenance required. It is made for players who want a locked in, consistently responsive feel without cleaning or tuning.
The Deepest State yo-yo ships with One Drop’s standard lubed bearing, allowing players to fine tune responsiveness to their own preference.
The Greasebucket does not come stock with the current Deepest State restock, but is available separately for those who want a more responsive setup. Ed Haponik tested this bearing extensively in Deepest State prototypes and prefers it for his style of play.

I bought this for my Deepest State because I didnt care for the stock bearing for modern responsive play. This bearing is definitely better for that style. Good response and very smooth. Im going to try it with some of my other yoyo’s.

I play responsive and don't like to have to do frequent ongoing maintenance. I heard about the Greasebucket bearing and bought one to go in an unresponsive yo-yo that I was playing with. Very nice!
I like that the bearing is well sealed and gives a great responsive play. I like it so much, in fact that I bought three more of them to put in another yo-yo and still have a couple of spares for later.
I find that the flat bearing outer surface occasionally lets the string slip over to one side. Then the yo-yo hangs funny and the string is dragging on the pads/sidewall and slows the yo-yo. Triple-wrapping the string helps keep everything centred.
