The Yoyorecreation GOPA is a unique new design with a larger diameter, narrower width, and lighter weight than typical competition models. Designed for fun with the essence of YYR in mind!

The GOPA is built for casual play with a shape inspired by classic yoyo designs. The large diameter paired with a narrow width and light weight is reminiscent of an era when metal yo-yos were just becoming available on the market. It plays fast and agile with just enough stability. Infused with Yoyorecreation's design know-how, it has the perfect balance of modern performance and classic feel!

Designed in Japan & Made in the USA.

    One of my go-to yoyo's

I almost always have a yo-yo (or 10) on-hand. When I'm limited to a top 3 to bring on a trip, the GOPA is very often part of the mix. As a lower level player, my tricks are not as clean. The GOPA is more forgiving than many other yo-yo's I've played, and it maintains its plane well. It throws smooth, and feels light and maneuverable to me. It something of a slimline so I think it's a good candidate for EDC.

It has an antiqued finish ala One Drop's manufacturing style, which initially surprised me, but I've grown to enjoy its charm. Also if you nick the yoyo, or put it in the same pocket as your keys, you won't see the scratches nearly as easily

Respected player Tsukasa Takatsu had a hand in GOPA's design, and there's a great online video of him performing repeater tricks with it.

The Blue is a very rich shade and complements the antiqued finish very well, especially when light plays over the microfacets on the surface.

    Crazy Fun

The GOPA is crazy fun. As in it plays so crazy that it's mad fun.

When I first got it I threw on a Slackie and the GOPA tried to kill me. Kinda reminded me of the iCEBERG like that. So I changed out the included DS bearing for a CenterTrac but, instead, it got unstable and snaggy. Moving to a Pixel made it fast, smooth, and snappy, but it was still trying to hurt me. Finally, I swapped out the Slackie for a Zipline Accel and it turned to gold. Well, it was already gold, or olive to be exact, but whatever.

The GOPA is an amazingly fun yoyo, with the right setup. Maybe someone better than me can tame it with any bearing or string, but that's not me and it doesn't matter. Because I love this thing just the way it is. The weight is so nice! Really it's the light weight combined with the size and shape. It's so aggressive, but in the most fun way. It's almost like playing a true organic, like a Diorama or Zero, but just so much faster and meaner.

Yoyorecreation and One Drop are truly a match made in heaven. You get the interesting competitive designs of YYR and the high quality fun of One Drop. I can't wait to see the next Yoyorecreation from Oregon.
