MK1YoYos is nearing their 4 year Anniversary and there would be no better way to celebrate it, by updating their very first released yo-yo the Diffraction! The Diffraction v3 is a monometal yoyo designed for comfort and performance, utilizing a smooth inverse-round shape and a unique fingerspin cup. It is a well-rounded and thoroughly tested design that has existed as part of Mk1YoYos for nearly 4 years now. It has a comfortably optimized profile shape, a fun hub, a thumb grind lip, and plenty of tiny details to appreciate. This version increases the axle length from 8 to 10mm, improving durability.

From MK1YoYos: I keep making the same yoyo. It’s very special to me. The third version of the Mk1 Diffraction will be released on October 30th, the 4 year anniversary of this yoyo company.

    Amazing yo-yo

This yo-yo is amazing. It is so apparent this was a labor of live for its creator. Every design decision and detail is deliberate. This is a purpose built yoyo with not many frills and that that’s how I like it. The yo-yo has a long spin time, is extremely stable and feels just right at 64ish grams.

Don’t let the bright color ways put you off, they add a fun aesthetic to an otherwise utilitarian design. I can only speak for the lychee fade but it looks beautiful (muted pink color) during spin and I assume so do the other color ways. It’s almost like a magic trick every time you throw it.
