Some signature models start from a blank slate. Ballom started from a yo-yo Yuki Sakamoto already knew inside and out. As a longtime user of C3yoyodesign's Stellar IX, the 2024 Japan National Yoyo Contest 5A runner-up fine-tuned the details to fit his own playstyle, inheriting the Stellar IX's concept while landing on something with a genuinely distinct feel.

The biggest shift comes down to maneuverability. Ballom keeps the extra-wide body concept but trims the diameter slightly smaller, unlocking tighter turns and easier handling on intricate movements, while still staying accessible to players used to standard-sized throws. Weight is concentrated in the stainless steel rims, giving the yo-yo a more solid, substantial feel that extends spin persistence and delivers real control, even when the yo-yo finds itself in an unstable position mid-air. That obedience under pressure translates directly into confidence during freestyles, exactly what a competition-focused design needs to deliver.

Ballom is built for players chasing precise, controlled 5A play with a competitive edge, refined by someone who's spent real time on the contest stage. If tight, confident handling is what your freestyle needs, this is the throw to bring it.
