The Ashigaru were foot-soldiers employed by the samurai class of feudal Japan. In the Sengoku era of war there were more than just Samurai with big family names participating. Those famous Samurai may be the most revered, but at the end of the day it's the front lines, the foot soldiers, with the biggest courage of all that carried the weight of the battles. The Ashigaru.

Very stable, smooth and easy to get plenty of spin with. I like the way it feels in my hand and I have a much easier time pulling off tricks with this throw that I struggle with on others. I highly recommend it.

I picked one up directly from the Sengoku website on presale. Very nice, especially for a mere $55. It’s incredibly smooth and very stable, with plenty of spin to get through even long tricks, I will start recommending this to anyone I know looking for something in the under $60 price tag or to anyone looking to purchase their first metal unresponsive. I prefer it over the Shutter or Horizon, both common picks for new throwers. I’m so impressed, I just purchased an Oni from this company. Their marketing strategy paid off, offer a nice yoyo at an affordable price to introduce the high quality of their product, in order to sell more of the pricier ones. Smart thinking!
