The legacy continues with the Anubis II, the long-awaited second generation of Turning Point’s acclaimed bi-metal powerhouse! Built from 6061 aluminum with stainless steel rims, the Anubis II refines everything players loved about the original—now with a touch more width for even greater performance.

While the diameter and overall weight remain true to the original, the slightly wider profile enhances control and stability without compromising the speed or power that made the Anubis a favorite among top-level competitors. It delivers a smooth, confident throw that’s designed to handle anything you throw at it—whether you’re blazing through high-speed tech or pushing new boundaries in creative freestyles.

From 1A to 3A to 5A, the Anubis II is built to shine across all string trick styles. Powerful, stable, and precision-engineered for performance—the Anubis II isn’t just a sequel. It’s an upgrade worthy of the podium.

One of the grails in my collection

The Anubis II has been called a masterpiece in other reviews I found on the web – and I agree. You can feel the power as you throw it and in how long it spins. It is smooth and stable. The weight allows you to feel control as you perform trick elements. I like that it’s not super-wide so despite its mass, it is still nimble. Turning Point uses similar (or even identical) profiles for multiple models. In hand the Anubis II is one of my favorites among Turning Point’s large-diameter, moderately beveled butterfly cousins.

The craftsmanship feels of high quality. It is comfortable to catch and beautiful to behold, both motionless in your hand between throws, and spinning fast in high-speed arcs.
