Anotogaster (New)

Going narrower while everyone else goes wider sounds backwards, but it’s exactly what Takumi Yasumoto’s playing style called for. The renewed Anotogaster is his signature off-string model from yoyorecreation, and it trims the width compared to the previous EXPERIMENTAL ANOTOGASTER to make it even easier to handle.

Wider designs are becoming common even in off-string, so the change may look like it goes against the trend.

It’s actually an evolution that came from thoroughly pursuing Takumi’s style. The width still supports a high success rate on mounts, but it isn’t so wide that it gets in the way of tricks that pass the yo-yo through the slightest gaps. It also brings the agility that up-tempo trick sequences demand, including his signature quick regeneration combos.

The result is faster and more fluid, exactly as the player intends. If you value handling over trend-chasing and like your off-string throws quick and responsive, this renewed Anotogaster is built for you. Give the narrower width a try.
