For this new chapter in the Akita’s evolution, Caribou Lodge teamed up with the precision experts at SUS YOYO MECHANICS in Japan. The result is a complete reimagining of the Akita. Every detail was built from the ground up to match the demands of a player who continues to push the limits of modern yo-yoing.

The Akita 2025 features a streamlined hub that reduces center weight and gives the yo-yo a clean, organic look. The steel rings have moved from the inner body to the outer rims, boosting spin power and improving momentum through long and complex combos. The rims are slightly narrower for added comfort without losing control, and the gap has been refined for horizontal stability and reliable binds.

Every millimeter has been tuned to balance Caribou-style comfort with high-end performance. The blasted finish keeps friction low, making grinds and hand contact moments smooth and consistent.
