A bit of a necro here, but yesterday I got a used Standard (mismatched cores, one black, the other pink). The OP’s review is spot on, this is just a different and fun yoyo.
When I read the original review, I gasped that he immediately took it apart to check out the construction. Well, that yoyo was not even up to room temperature and I had mine disassembled. The pieces fit precisely, and, no vibe when reassembled.
My only regret is waiting as long as I did to pick one up.
