First pass on a polishing wheel. Second run by hand to get around the machining marks. I was considering getting rid of them, making the sides a true mirror finish. I decided against it though, since it’s oh so pretty.

The whole lack of lines inside just make that whole yoyo pop. I also love your decision to just leave the marks on there. It gives that yoyo a class all of its own.
Lesson: It’s important to know when to say when. I think you made the right choice.
