I began learning this trick a month ago and have got up to the bucket mount in the trick but have yet to figure out how to effectively get the yoyo to hop out of the bucket without either hitting my hand or hitting the string, can't seem to get the opening big enough.

Here's what I have so far:


Not sure if I can post the tutorial on here since it's technically sponsored by a different yoyo store but I'm sure a quick search on Youtube will find it.

For what it's worth I actually downloaded his video and flipped it as I struggle big time learning from a lefty.

You need to swing the yoyo to the right then up to pop out of the bucket in the gap between your forefinger and thumb of your throw hand.
