This thing is like, $1 in a local toy store. I decided to get one and see if I can do anything with it.
Stock plays like a dream, totally lightweight, has a bearing, spacer and starburst response is one piece of plastic, the string always slip between the bearing and spacer every 2-3 throws.
I decided to mod it, here is what I did.
-Weight rings.
-Difeyo Konkave bearing.
-Metal spacers.
Assembled all together.
Bam, still suck. The string slips, starburst can’t handle it.
So I glued some old pads with super glue, playable for a few throws, then it pops off. Tried re-gluing again, pops out again.
I ended up saving myself from the trouble and play some actual yoyos, happy ending.
Moral of the story, don’t waste your time and precious $1, one day one of your friend might wanna get that $300 limited edition yoyo and only had $299, that $1 would’ve saved his life.
