Featuring exhibitions by star players, star judges, and other amazing skill toy performers in juggling and kendama as well as yoyo. Bring a parent, Bring a friend, or come and make some new friends! Come see one of USA’s most active clubs and skill toy communities!

A 3.5mm headphone jack will be available to play a song for those bringing their own music from your phone or ipod or youtube video. YOU MUST have someone with you who will operate your song for you and know how to unlock your device and operate it durring your freestyle.

Are prelims and finals both 2 minutes? Also, what does DFW stand for?

Is his a nyyl event?

Same question, is the finals and prelims both 2 minutes? DFW = Dallas Fort Worth and I am pretty sure it is not a nyyl event.

thanks for answering yes we are doing 1 min prelims and 2 min finals~

we are mostly having 1a so no this is not a nyyl event. we are however working towards that for tx state and are as nyyl compliant as we can be. the wheels for nyyl event seems to take a while to turn so its in the works hopefully soon

Hopefully I’ll be there to hang out and film some freestyles like Texas State

Howdy, I am new to the forum. I am going to the DFW Open in January. It will be my first yoyo contest in 7.5 years. I am so excited.

If we are going to attend, do we have to pay via PayPal or can we pay in cash the day of the event?

you can pay at the door but you still need to register beforehand send in music for frestyle prelims etc. just seemed easier to pay up front~

I will be going to compete. I will also have some of my project’s prototype to sell (5 pieces). Anyways, just if you find me you can get to try them. They will be around $100 but there might be discounts (optional gifts included) ;). Hope to see you guys there!!! Hope you guys support me, too. ;D

I have some freestyle clips but I don’t have the names of all the competitors written down :-\ I’m waiting to acquire that information somewhere. I had limited memory card space, so I only recorded a few of the prelims. I hadn’t anticipated there would only be four finalists…
