Hey guys, this is probably really dumb and easy… but at the start of the trick (i’ve seen it done in a lot of other tricks) he wraps the string around his throw hand and then pops the yoyo through the gap behind the string, between his thumb and middle finger (i think)… how?? there isn’t enough space when i do it, how can i get the string to make a bigger gap…?

It’s actually fairly simple: you can see that wrap around his wrist/hand? You just gotta make it big. There really isn’t anything to explain
