Yay! Thanks a million!

Another question! What about 5a marks and wedding ring marks? Would they be considered pin pricks?
My titanium wedding band makes nice millimeter sized scratches that go straight through the ano but cannot be felt. I refer to those as scratches and then reference how they found there way onto the throw (usually rim).

Great job. Hopefully this will help clear up some of the confusion over the terms.

I recommend this being moved to the BST thread and stiky it there. This can be an invaluable resource for people who do business there.

But my fingers are always numb so I can't feel the difference between a ding and a small scuff.

Awesome post with perfect descriptions. I'd like to add a point that so many members need to observe. When you're listing a B/S/T, if your throw has damage, the ever popular term "near mint" just doesn't apply. "Near mint" should never be used to describe anything. Saying that is like saying the words probably and for sure in the same sentence. Your throw is either in mint condition, or has damage and is no longer in mint condition.

When a yoyo has got just a little damage it is just nearly not mint, or near to mint condition.

Or as some people call it, near mint.
