I would love to learn how to do some mods.  I probably wouldn't offer to mod for people online, but I would love to learn how to do it for myself, and maybe my friends.  What tools do most people use to do a silicone recess?

most of the great modders have lathes. Some use drills and some have drill presses. For the recess if, you don't have access to a lathe,  is a jewlers screwdriver.

ive tried my own hand at modding. i flat rimmed my freehand 2 and silicone recessed it and cleaned the bearing and satined it (all on the freehand 2). then i siliconed my maverick and satined and polished it.

which one on this list would do a good polishing job at a relatively low price. i have a yomega dash that, if possible, i would like to have the whole thing polished. And if that isn't possible then just the rims.

 thanks
