When doing plastic whip is it supposed to land in a one handed brain twister mount or a one handed bind?

Yeah sometimes randomly my plastic whip swaps between the two even though I do exactly the same kinda throw each time...I think my YoYo is haunted...

It was that way for me at first, now I get into the correct mount almost every time.  Once you know where the string is going, it makes it easier with practice.

I know what your doing wrong, I do it too sometimes.

Instead of just whipping the string strait down, try whipping it from the outer-most side of the yoyo (the side not facing you). This will help you land it in bind more often, and once you get great at it you could even substitute a normal bind for Plastic Whip sometimes.
