ill try to explain it a bit better. we are already probably going to get 1 prototype for free. that will be to see if the design works. then we will get a run of 10 or so, and sell those to get feedback and stuff. prices will probably be around $75, but it may vary a bit.

one more thing. to everyone here: who is willing to buy a pro to? i know studio 42 may get 2, but who else is willing to buy and test one to give feedback?

For me it depends on when they will be up for sale. Because right now (if they are $75) I a about $20 short

actually, sir squirrel, you have hit on a very important topic. one drop said that they won't be available for prototyping for say another few months, like the beginning of summer. i we go with them then it would be a longer wait.

where? and are they one drop axels?

Do they have to be One Drop axles?  If I'm not mistaking, One Drop just uses an 8-32 set screw that's 1/2 inches long.  If you want I'll pm you a link where you can get 100 axles for $7

Actually our axles are M4x.7 and 16mm long.  However, when we machine yoyos for other companies they dictate the axle diameter and length.

I like number 7.

But need better weight distributions.

okay, yeah there aren't really any updates. right now were just exploring different companies for prototyping, trying to get it as cheap as possible. if you guys want I can post pics of the final drafts of the ones that we have decided on.
