My first spin top

Hi all! I want to buy spin top, but I do not know what to choose. Help me please with a choice.

P.S.
Sorry for my english

I would suggest either a Duncan Ripcord or Spintastics Gladiator as a first top.
yophosis, tomymoonly - what do you guys think?

ripcord is good for begginers

A lot I can learn with fixed tip?

The Spintastics Sidewinder is a very good top for beginners. The Ripcord is a little more difficult at first. But with the Ripcord you can go further.

A bearing tip top will let you learn more tricks faster. But the fixed tip will give you a better foundation.

Tricks that you can only do with bearing: Mach 5, Gyro flop and in general “binding” tricks.
Tricks that you can only do with fixed tip: wire walker, cablecar and in general all walking tricks.
Of course, regenerations can only be done with fixed tip, but those are advanced tricks.

Ideally, you want one top of each type. Unfortunately, none of the tops available can be switched between the two modes easy enough to be worth doing it.

Welcome to the sport!
