Hey Guys. I'm Clay, I'm 15 and I love to yoyo. I'm WAY into counterweight, simply because you can let go of it and that just opens a new world of tricks. I would yoyo when was nine but quit for a while. now I have three yoyos and I'm going strong :DD

Hi guys. I started yoyoing for about 6 months now. Im still kind of noobish. The best help i get is from my older brother. He's cool. He's been yoyoing for about 2 years i think? I share yoyos with him.my favorite yoyo is the velocity. It's pretty darn nifty. That has been my main yoyo since ive started.

Hello!
I'm jumping ship from YYN (am I allowed to say that? anyway...) where, cool fact, I actually had more posts than anybody else. Oh, the joys of being young.
But yeah. Hi YYE!

Same with fzzyrn! Well, I'm more active on the other website [...this is weird because I usually refer to YYE as the 'other website'] than here in YYE. You'll see me here if the forum activity there is slow and stuff. But then, I won't be going online as much because I have school.
Been throwing for 15 months and I still suck.
Yo!

I should spend less time lurking on forums and spend more time yoyoing.

Hello all,
My handle had been Jokker sense 97 and I am a big online pc gamer. When I was young I throw a yoyo when I work at an arcade. I lost interest in it as college and work took over. I have been throwing now for about a year and can never go back to not having a yoyo on my side every where I go, lol. I stop smoking cigerettes by replacing them with yoyoing, just keep the hands busy.. The first yoyo I got back into the game was a Y-factor by one drop and it was amazing to me. Sad thing is that I lost it somewhere in Brandon FL one day wail working. I hope to get another one someday. I am an 33 this year and the guys at work messed with me for playing with toys, but my response has always been "I would rather play with this yoyo and live life than smoke those cigerettes and die young."
So that a little about me, I'll be around...

The name's Val I'm a 20 yr young girl I used to spin a lot in my childhood and been meaning to pick it up again but I don't have enough money to buy a good yoyo. I am, however, saving up for a Dark Magic 2. I have $30dlls saved up so far!! I've always been in love with the sport and I know one day I'll be a contestant in a competition

That's really cool. Yo-yoing helped me quite drinking. It's really neat to hear that I am not alone!

Hello,
Got interested when ball-bearings made it possible for me to actually perform rock the cradle and still have spin left to get a return. Since then I have learned one new trick every five years (now up to 3 tricks total).
There is something about throwing that has a calming effect in a hectic day. Even when it snags a knot and crushes my knuckles.

Hi, I'm going by the name "TotalArtist" here. I'm in my mid-30s. I just got into yoyoing a few months ago, because I always liked them when I was young, but I never took the time to get really good at it. In that short time, I've amassed a collection of about 32 yoyos.
My favorite yoyos are the Dark Magic and Freehand Zero, but I also like the One by YYF, and the YYJ Chaser. I also have an affinity for small pocket sized yoyos and I own several of them such as the Mighty Flea, Micro Mo, Aoda Mini, and Tom Kuhn Pocket Rocket. I even buy yoyos above my skill level, if they look cool, and I think they can motivate me to get better.
I'm currently in the Boston, M.A. area looking for a personal yoyo trainer, someone to give me one on one lessons. I'd love to get better faster and I am willing to pay someone to help me get better. Please get in touch if you know the right person in my area. Other things I love to do is play with my Rubik's cubes, my bass guitar, and my PS3. I joined the forum hoping to learn more about yoyoing. Thanks for reading this.

Welcome Salubrious D. and TotalArtist! I'm a newcomer to these forums myself, but I can say with certainty that you'll find lots of help and support here. TotalArtist, you might want to look at some of the other boards on this forum for a pointer to a trainer. Maybe post your request on the Yo Yo Tricks forum? Salubrious D., I completely agree about the calming effect of a yoyo, even when your hand is black and blue in places

Hey everyone!
I'm Colin and I'm 13. I've been interested in yoyoing since I was 3 but I've only been yoyoing seriously for about 5 months. My first unresponsive was a YoYoJam Atmosphere, I hated it. 2 years later a got a YYF Plastic Grind Machine, it was great. For Christmas I got a CLYW Gnarwal and a YYF Super G and those have been my main throws since. My favorite tricks are anything that includes grinds or whips or both.
Happy Throwing!
