slip knot?

i've been wondering how some people attach their yoyo strings on their fingers without doing it the slip knot way. grant does it in his legacy vid.

like he tied the yoyo on his finger differently. im wondering how he does that.

oh he probably just put the knot around his finger lols  Just tie a bigger knot.

He just takes a string with a pre-made loop and ties another loop under it to make a slipknot. This way, the original loop will still be hanging off the end unless you cut it off.

So would it be used to shorten the string or something?

Yes, because we are short people like that.
