Just got a Lyn Fury, and was wondering what type of string would be better for the beginner. Type 6 or 8, and will type 8 be to thick to do harder string tricks.

well size 6 is smaller and will make it less responsive than the size 8. but if you want to have a more responsive yo than its your best bet. as for feal, they play the same to me just ones more responsive. later and keeop it spinning.

Type 8 is more responsive, and type 6 is less. However, it won't really matter as much, because depending on how your yoyo is set up, it will play like your yoyo does. Type 6 is more versatile though.
