No problem, thanks for stopping in and looking and commenting! I enjoy seeing others work and sharing mine as well.

Here’s a few more

Wow, Russ, this is some amazing work! I’m not a photographer, so from the layman’s perspective, I can say these are great! I especially like the first picture–the colors are so rich, and are visually appealing. The editing is great as well. Not sure my opinion means much, with me not being educated in the field of photography, but thanks for sharing!

Thanks big cat! I appreciate the time you took to look and post.

Even opinion concerning art is valid art is in the eye of the beholder.

Very nice work Snafu. I didn’t even know you were taking photos as well. I think this thread will fill a void. We have fully tackled yo-yo related, but this will encourage me to take some photos of other things too. I love the photo of the birdie…colors really pop in that one.

Nice idea for a thread.

Snafu, there is some very cool work there. I’m impressed. I love the B/W work especially. Is it all lighting/settings/darkroom, or is it photoshopped? Either way, some cool looking shots for sure.

GregP, nice work as well. I love long exposure night landscapes like that. Great shot of what I suspect is your kid as well.

You guys have some great photos! I personally don’t use a camera well but here are a couple of photos that I’m actually not embarrassed of lol.

I don’t use photoshop, I do light enhancing in Lightroom but nothing to drastic. It’s really more about just knowing what you want the final product to look like and run with it :).

Wow Greg some great stuff there I love the bridge

And TotalArtist I’m glad to inspire you! and thanks the bird was one of my favorites I’ll post my other favorite in a bit.

Hahaha  love it B)

Another Coloradan? Welcome and don’t be afraid to post here I am open to Q&A I will do what I can to offer help if you are in need.

Also that mountain shot is excellent!

Here’s today’s offering

Snafu those are some great shots, man.

I haven’t delved too much into the artistry of photography; I mainly use my camera to document yoyos haha.

But here are some shots I’ve taken that I’m half-way pleased with.

Thanks for sharing link! Some cool ideas and playful stuff there! I enjoyed nice beach scene although I’m not a pipe smoker (or tobacco user at all) I can definitely feel the peacefulness and the enjoyment that was had in that moment.

What’s the back story with the woman chasing down the guy with he shoe of best down in her hand? (Sorry had to add my idea of what was going on there, likely 100% off but it seemed good at the moment.)

Oh yeah, it was swell. We were on the beach of Lake Michigan for the 4th of July and is was incredibly relaxing.

Haha well that was just a little creative shot my brother and girlfriend did for their prom pictures. I assume that’s what you were asking about cuz…

WAT

Oops I got the shoe holder confused lol. Like I said I saw it slightly different then reality portrayed it hehe. Cool stuff, I enjoy all the posts from others! I love seeing the world through other people’s eyes and photography is one of the better silent forms to do that. But having the photographer here for back story always adds to it. B) thanks for sharing all.

Dat pedal steel, Snafu!
