Gyroscopic Flop Problem?

When I do gyroscopic flop the whipping way, the yoyo turns halfway and then reverses and then starts spinning around?

When you do this trick, make sure when the yoyo is turning, don’t let the string touch the side of the physical yoyo itself. If the string doesn’t touch the sides, you should be able to gyro flop as long as a sleeper. Personally, I don’t do gyroscopic flop the whipping [Andre’s way]. It makes the trick harder than what it really has to be.
