2010 National Yo-Yo Contest – #NYYC2010

The 2010 National Yo-Yo Contest takes place THIS WEEKEND. Saturday players from all over the country will gather in Chico California to compete for the title of best in the US!

YoYoExpert is proud to be an official sponsor of the event! We will not have a table there ourselves but most manufacturers will be there selling some amazing stuff as usual!

Professionals now require a yo-yo built to a new level of precision and spin dynamics. Enter YoYoFactory and their signature series collaboration with World Champion Tyler Severance. SEVERE is ready to leave its mark.

The 2009 SEVERE was a big hit and with 2010 they went bigger!

To bring the SEVERE into 2010 some big chances were made! First, high grade 7075 aluminum (the high grade metal used in the Superstar yo-yo) helps prevent the metal from flexing when the yo-yo is dropped. A slight shape and size change have given the new Severe an entirely new feel too! It is truly something unique from the YoYoFactory lineup.

The Bay Area Classic is one of the longest-running regional yo-yo contests in the United States, and has garnered the respect and admiration of skilled players from around the world. Regularly attended by players from as nearby as San Francisco and as far away as Japan, the Bay Area Classic is also one of the largest contest in the United States with stead attendance growth every year since its inception.
