The Diplomat is the new signature yo-yo for Recess team member Colin Beckford. After making finals last year at Worlds, placing 6th at Nationals, and 4th at BAC, Colin is well versed in what makes a great competition level yo-yo and the Diplomat is exactly that!
Machined from 7075 Aluminum, the Diplomat has some added durability and sports a brighter and shinier finish that really stands out while performing. It has a nice curved h-shape profile that fits comfortably in the hand and offers a wide catch zone that is exactly what Colin needs to hit all his complex and risky tricks.
From the first throw you can tell that Recess really distributed the weight perfectly on this model. They managed to achieve a surprisingly powerful feel on the throw and bind, while still maintaining a light, maneuverable, and really fast feel in play.
