Turns out YoYoFactory has some BIG PLANS for May and the style of 5A play. Time to grab your counter weight and read on!
The 5th Month is May, its also 5A month at YoYoFactory!

Coming this month we have everything a 5A player could possibly want and if you dont play 5A we hope to inspire you enough to go tie some random object onto the end of you string and give it a try!
1. Daily 5A videos. Yup EVERY WEEK DAY in MAY we will have a 5A instructional video coming from Miggy and Tyler
2. 5 Player signature edition yo-yos
We pay tribute to the 5 biggest names in 5A in the USA with 5 Signature edition Yo-Yo releases

It all starts Monday May 3 with the 1st video and the 1st signature Yo-Yo revealed!

HSpin is really going full steam ahead with new yo-yo development and we are excited to watch this new model come to life! The ICON is the signature series of HSpin Network member Stefan (also known as MagL33To) and looks really neat and a different direction for this Swiss Manufacturer! Our very own Forum Expert and team member of General-Yo Samad recently made an excellent video showcasing his truly MAD SKILLS! It is absolutely amazing to watch how fast Samad has picked up things and we really appreciate all of his hard work in our forums from the very beginning!
Speaking of General Yo – some neat news about an upcoming product! The “Mini Star” is a somewhat mini version of the original (and very sought after) 5 Star Yo-Yo and a lot of work has gone into it to ensure amazing play. When they are ready you will definitely see them arrive here at YoYoExpert!

Chris Rhoads over at High Speed Yo-Yo just posted an excellent review of the HSpin Gorylla.
The Gorylla is what you want to buy if you want the FULL Hspin experience. With the Gorylla you get the hybrid bearing, the Hspin anodized finish for superior grinds, and a more stable all around yo-yo. At $90 it is a little more expensive than the Beysick but at the same time you are getting all of what Hspin has to offer at a price that is still cheaper than their premium lines. In the end I find the Gorylla to be the best bang for the buck that Hspin has to offer.

YoYoFactory recently posted this on their blog and we just wanted to re-share it.
Evan Nagao is the son of Alan Nagao who was the owner of High Performance Kites in Hawaii and creator of Team High Performance – responsible for some of the best players out there (Yuuki Spencer, Paul Han, and many more).
Evan obviously picked up yo-yos at a very young age because of this and truly amazed people around the nation on Jay Leno back in 2001! Here is the original video of him below on Leno and check him out now in his freestyle below at the 2010 California State Yo-Yo Contest! Amazing to see where he has come from!

JUGGERNAUT FROM DIF-E-YO IS HERE.
Dif-E-Yo was one of the first manufacturers to produce high end aluminum yo-yos and really helped pioneer the way towards unresponsive play when they introduced their KonKave bearing.
